Description:

2008 Bughouse Championships at the 2008 WA State Elementary Chess Championships!

Directed by: David Sommers and Brian Talbot

Date: April 25

Time: Register/check-in 3:30-4:30pm or online - first round 5pm - done by 8pm

Eligible: K-12

Format: K-2, 3-4,5-6,7-12 (older players' grade determines which section); 4 rounds - each round consists of 2 games

Time Control: G/5

Register by yourself and we will help you find a partner, or have both players type in their partner's name in the comments field when registering to ensure you are paired together as a team!

Cost: $15 - Registration deadline April 18

Format:
- Time control G/5
- 4 Rounds
- 2 games per round
- Bughouse Rules
- K-2/3-4/5-6/7-12 Sections
- Bughouse partners' ratings will be combined to determine a team rating
- The older player's grade determines which section the team will be in

Please bring a clock.
A limited number of clocks will be available for use.

The players of the team that wins the first game in a round switch colors for the second game and the other players play the same color as they did in the first game.

Team tables purchased for the main event will be available for those teams during bughouse.
