Lewis County Scholastic Chess Championships (K-12) (State Qualifier)

Qualify for the 2010 Washington State Elementary Chess Championships! Sections for both advanced and inexperienced chess players. Open to anyone grades K-12.

Location:

Onalaska Middle School, 280 W. 5th Street, Onalaska, WA 98570 (See below for directions to the school.)

Time:

Check-in 8:45 - 9:15am. Opening Ceremonies at 9:20am. Rounds estimated: 10:00am, 11:20, 11:45, 12:45pm and 2:05, and 3:25. Awards ceremony begins after last round (4:45pm).

Eligible:

Any student grades K-12.

Playing section format:

K-3rd (Primary), 4th-6th (Elementary), 7th-8th (Jr. High), and 9th-12th (High School).

Awards:

Generous number of trophies and medals to top finishers and teams.

Entry Fee:

$10 by mail; $15 on-site.
