Principal Instructors:

Experienced Chess4Life chess coaches. Elliott Neff works very closely with all of the chess coaches to pass on his experience. Elliott has 15 plus years of experience coaching and teaching chess. He currently is coach to multiple students in the top 100 list in the US for their age division.

Educational Program:

Opening, middle game, and end game studies Tournament games Specialties including: bughouse and puzzles

Daily Schedule:

8:45-9:15a.m. Drop-off and casual play

9:15-10:15a.m. Morning Classes

10:15-10:30p.m. Break Time

10:30-11:30a.m. Tournament Style games with analysis of some

11:30am-12:15p.m. 2nd half of morning classes

12:15-12:45p.m. Lunch Break and Morning Pick up / Afternoon Drop Off

12:45-1:45p.m. Afternoon Classes

1:45-2:00p.m. Afternoon Break

2:00-3:00p.m. Tournament games

3:00-3:40p.m. Afternoon Classes

3:45-4:00p.m.* Free Play, Simuls, Bughouse, Blitz, Clean-up, Check-out

*There is a late fee charged for students picked up after 4:00p.m.

Additional Info:

Please bring chess clock if available. Chess set, board and carrying case available at camp for special rate of $20. There is a $30 cancellation fee. Also there is an option to only attend three days of the camp for the students that are not out of school in time or have vacation plans. Contact the center for more information.
