Check-In:

Check-in at 9:30am sharp or risk forfeiting. Rounds starts at 10am. Second round is estimated to begin at 2pm.

Eligible:

K-12, invitation only, top rated players in the state, based on the ratings report on March 10th. Must be available to play on May 1 in Vancouver, British Columbia. In order to play students MUST have confirmed by emailing tournaments@chess4life.com with confirmation by March 31st. NOTE: if you are in the top 10 or close to it, please respond - you will be placed on an alternate list in case the top players are unable to make it to the match.

List of the Top Ten Eligible Players From Each Grade in WA State - This list is chosen using the following criteria: Must be a resident of WA. NOTE: if you have a USCF rating that is higher and places you in the top 10 list, please email tournaments@chess4life.com, as we will be choosing players based on whichever rating is higher - USCF or NWSRS.

FREE - this is an honor to be able to represent the State of Washington against the province of British Columbia.

Rules:

CFC rules, will be explained onsite...similar to USCF rules, with some small differences.

Miscellaneous:

Commemmorative jackets supplied by BC team to all players. We will also be having some fun events at lunch time.

Grades K-12 – top 2 players that can commit to attending the match will be chosen based on the ratings March 10th, 2010. Time control is G/90.
