Art/Chess Spring Camp-Tacoma- To Be RESCHEDULED

Chess:

This camp will focus primarily on tactics in the opening, middle game, and end game at all skill levels. Experienced Chess4Life coaches use award-winning curriculum developed by National Master Elliott Neff.

Art:

An expert art instructor will guide students into an understanding of principles of value, perspective and more, in an age-appropriate manner. Students will practice these principles throughout the week and apply them as they create a finished painting, suitable for framing. All supplies are provided. Students of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up!

Daily Schedule:

7:45a.m. Early Drop-off (must be pre-approved by Chess4Life: call 206-491-3826)
8:45-9:00a.m. Morning drop-off
9:00-10:15a.m. Morning Classes
10:15-10:30a.m. Break Time
10:30-11:30a.m. Tournament Style games with analysis of some
11:30am-12:00p.m. 2nd half of morning classes
12:00-12:45p.m. Lunch Break and Morning Pick up / Afternoon Drop Off
12:45-1:45p.m. Art instruction and practice
1:45-2:00p.m. Afternoon Break
2:00-3:45p.m. Art instruction and practice
3:45p.m. Check-out
4:00-6:00p.m. After camp care.
*Before or After-camp care may be pre-paid on-site for $5/hour or part of hour (not pro-rated) or $35/week.

*Pizza Lunch may be pre-paid on-site ($5/one slice, $7/two slices, plus chips, apples/carrots and juice), or please bring sack lunch.
