Assumption Winter Chess Blast - state qualifying chess tournament! Register Early to Reserve Your Space!

Location:

Assumption Catholic School 2116 Cornwall Ave Bellingham, WA 98225 (see below for directions).

Time:

Schedule: Check-in 8:10 - 8:30am. Opening ceremonies at 9:00am. Start times for each round: 9:15, 10:30, 11:45, 1:00, 2:15, ceremonies at 3:45 or ASAP.

Eligible:

Any student grades K-8.

Format:

5 Round Swiss Format - no elimination - Divisions of Grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.

Awards:

Awards: Trophies to the top 10 in all sections. Awards will be given to those scoring 3.0 or higher. Team awards to the top 3 teams.

Entry Fee:

$15.00 per person (online registration fees included). Pre-registration strongly recommended. Space is limited, so enter early!

Concessions:

Concessions: Hot Dogs, chips, cookie, and a soda will be available for lunch for $5.00 and other concessions will be available on site. Concessions are provided by Assumption Boy Scouts Troop 16.

Miscellaneous:

Bring a chess clock if you have one...and be ready for a great day of chess fun!!
