This is a State Qualifying tournament for players K-6th Grade. Everyone will play 5 games (excluding byes due to odd numbers). If a player earns 3 points out of the 5 games they qualify for the State Elementary Tournament in April. (Registering for the State tournament is still required after qualifying.) All elementary students are eligible to enter the tournament.
Location:
Located at the Chess4Life Center, 12729 Northup Way, Suite 15, Bellevue, WA 98005. (see below for directions)
Time:
Check-in from 2:30pm, first round of play starts at 3:00pm. Awards begin ASAP after last round, estimated at 8:00 pm.

Any student grades K-12.

Tournament for grades K-6, sections for K-6 U1000, K-6 Open,(Note: some groups may be combined if sections are small.)
Awards:
A generous number of trophies and medals are awarded to the top finishers.
Entry Fee:
$18 per person (no extra fee for online registration), $25 after February 25th, 2012.
Concessions:
Pizza and other concessions available on site.
Miscellaneous:
Please bring your own clock and chess notation sheet if you have one, chess sets are provided.
