Sunset Primary Chess Tournament (K-6 U800) (Chess4Life Hosted) (State Qualifier)

Location:

Tournament located at the Sunset Primary, 4523 97th Ave W, University Place, WA 98466. (see below for directions)

Time:

Check-in from 8:30am - 8:45am, the first round starts at 9:00am and lasts five rounds; awards begin immediately after the last round, estimated at 2:00 pm.

Eligible:

Any student grades K-6 competing in U-800.Max 85 competitors

Format:

Tournament for grades K only, grades 1-3 U800, grades 4-6 U800.

Awards:

A generous number of trophies and medals are awarded to the top finishers. Prizes are awarded for all Kindergartners!

Entry Fee:

$18 per person (no extra fee for online registration), fee raises to $25 seven days prior to event start date.

Concessions:

Concessions are available on site and are provided by Sunset Primary.

Miscellaneous:

Please bring your own clock and chess notation books, chess sets are provided.
