Qualify for the 2011 Washington State Elementary Chess Championships and a fundraiser for the Tacoma Bible Presbyterian Church Youth Group Missions Trip fund.

Location:

Located at Tacoma Bible Presbyterian Church at 5 G St, Tacoma, WA. (see below for directions)

Time:

Check-in from 8:15am - 8:45am, first round of play starts at 9:00am. Awards begin ASAP after last round, estimated at 3:00pm.

Eligible:

Any person, any age, any skill level (as long as you can do a checkmate!).

Format:

Tournament for all ages, sections for Grades Kindergarten only, 1-3 U800 and OPEN, 4-6 U900 and OPEN, and any age/any grade.

Awards:

Generous number of trophies and medals to top finishers as well as team trophies - and ALL first time tournament players receive an award.

Entry Fee:

$18 per person (no extra fee for online registration), increases to $25 1 week before the event.

Concessions:

Pizza and other concessions available on site. Pizza Lunches Available for pre-order on site.

Miscellaneous:

Bring your own clock and chess notation sheet if you have one, chess sets are provided.
