Assistant Chess Coach
An Assistant Coach must have an understanding of the game of chess. Each Assistant Coach works with a Head Coach. Assistants are not given the full responsibilities of a Head Coach. Assistant Coaches work with individual students and small groups of students. An Assistant Coach must enjoy working with kids, be patient, and be able to work as part of a coaching team. An Assistant Coach earns $9 - $16 per hour. Beginning hours are part-time and flexible. Plenty of opportunities for advancement with a strong company committed to continual training and development of all coaching staff. Teaching locations in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Seattle, Everett, Tacoma, and other areas of the Puget Sound. Own transportation needed for some work assignments. Positions are available for all levels of skill. Very flexible hours, part-time or full-time work - mostly after-school hours. Head coaches make from $18 - $30 per hour. Requirements of a Head Chess Coach: work well with kids, both individually and in groups; be patient; be able to develop and direct Assistant Coaches and Volunteers, be a team player, possess classroom management skills, exhibit responsibility, and be willing to keep learning. A Coach must care about the success of the students and be willing to invest in their lives. Teaching locations in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Seattle, Everett, Tacoma, and other areas of the Puget Sound. Teaching experience and teaching certification a plus but not required. Employment Application Process for Staff
We have an opening for a van driver Monday to Friday at our Bellevue location. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and may not be older than 79 years of age. A clean driving record, valid WA driver's license, and an ability to work with children are essential. If you are interested please fill out an application.
