Roy Almasy
is a member of the Chess4Life team. He is a patient coach who has a passion for positively impacting the lives of children. While coaching, he uses the game of chess to teach practical life lessons.

Organized tournaments, camps, special events and classes for hundreds of students
Directed multiple tournaments—well versed with tournament rules and etiquette
Conducted simultaneous chess exhibitions
Competed in many USCF chess tournaments
Placed 5th in 2000 USCF National High School Championship
15+ years competing and studying chess
