National Chess Expert with a peak rating above USCF 2100. Washington State 1997 Elementary Chess Champion K-6 undefeated. Won 14th at the 1998 National Elementary Championships. In 2004 ranked top 25 for 18 years old age group in United States. Won fourth place in Ukraine's Royal Residence Cup in 2011. One of the top scholastic chess players in Washington State from 3rd to 12th grade. Went undefeated in first debut tournament at the famous Bryant Elementary Scholastic Classic in 3rd grade. Fluent in Spanish and conversational Ukrainian.
Coach Rudy offers private lessons This includes driving to a student's house, or at a location of choice such as a cafe. Beginners to advanced and casual to tournament level are welcomed. His current rate is $65 per one hour lesson.
