Srihari P
Srihari P. is the February 2011 Student of the Month chosen after multiple nominations came in. Srihari is in Kindergarten at Rosa Parks Elementary, and his coach had this to say about Srihari:
"He consistently brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. He enjoys being challenged and works hard; his enthusiasm and positive presence are unmistakable"
In addition, at the annual PTA sponsored Rosa Parks Chess Night, Srihari shone again, resulting in these comments from the Chess4Life representative:
"Srihari checkmated me in a practice game at the Rosa Parks PTSA-sponsored chess night. That's how he got my attention. Plus he's the definition of focus and working hard at the board,
as was demonstrated when he challenged Alex F. after our game. Alex eventually won, but was totally worn out by the end of the game! I am always impressed when I see strong chess combined with
positive attitude and sportsmanship."
